Brow Bone Contouring
Brow Bone Contouring is a surgical procedure that reduces and reshapes the prominent bony ridge above the eyes (brow bossing) to create a smoother, flatter, and more feminine forehead appearance. It softens strong facial features and improves the overall harmony of the upper face and eye area.
Performed by Dr. Adibfar at Element Toronto, this procedure is commonly requested as part of facial feminization surgery but can also be done to achieve a less angular forehead contour.
The surgery is best performed once facial bones are fully developed. Dr. Adibfar will access the brow bone through small incisions hidden behind the hairline or in the upper eyelid, carefully shaving and contouring the bone for a natural, refined result.
Risks include swelling, bruising, temporary numbness or sensation changes, asymmetry, and rare complications such as infection. Dr. Adibfar will discuss all risks with you during your consultation.
Most patients return to work within 1–2 weeks. Swelling gradually subsides over several weeks, with final results visible after 3–6 months.
