Feminizing Rhinoplasty

Feminizing Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that reshapes the nose to create softer, more delicate, and feminine facial features. It typically involves narrowing the nasal bridge, refining the tip, reducing a dorsal hump, and achieving a slightly upturned or more refined appearance while maintaining natural breathing function.

Performed by Dr. Adibfar at Element Toronto, this procedure is customized to your facial proportions, skin thickness, and aesthetic goals. It is often requested as part of facial feminization surgery but can also be performed on its own.

The surgery can be done once facial growth is complete. Dr. Adibfar will choose between a closed rhinoplasty (incisions inside the nose) or open rhinoplasty (small incision at the base of the columella) depending on the complexity of the changes needed.

Risks include swelling, bruising, temporary numbness, asymmetry, breathing changes, and rare complications such as infection. Dr. Adibfar will discuss all risks with you during your consultation.
Most patients return to work within 1–2 weeks. Swelling gradually decreases over several weeks, with final results visible after 6–12 months as the nose fully settles.
